Poet’s Field Journal and Letters Between Poets are
spaces for poets and artists who want to make conversation around their work authentically with peers. Women writing together is more revolutionary than we give it credit for. I’ve seen facilitators make spaces like this. They make little webs.
My education is in poetry, anthropologie, and play curriculums in elementary education. I’ve spent over a decade covering artists as a marketer. So I’ve set it up as a game and will cover it as an anthropologist.
There are so many ways to participate. Just knowing the poetry in your community will be a catalyst for your own poetry. I’ve made more than 10 poem archetypes and we are expanding them in comments, group messages, and posts to each other. Baked into this game is a lot of sneakily smart marketing.
The best way to join the game is to come to Virtual Collage Night! There are forms you can fill out here, but they will take a little longer. The other way to join is to comment, collaborate post, or submit a poem to letters between poets here.
Letters Between Poets is the game where we find new ways to read each other’s work carefully. We give our poems to archetypes, point out what the poems does as a verb, and find ways to swap drafts that feels generative and can really help your work circulate.
Tell Us More About Your Work. Let’s Collaborate.
Sign up here or come to the next Collage Night on @LettersBetweenPoets on instagram. Collage Nights are usually on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays, depending on the week.
